Welcome to Drawing & Painting I!  Drawing and Painting I takes off where Studio Art concludes; skills learned in Studio Art such as line drawing, perspective, value, design and color theory will be used as building blocks for higher-level study.  In addition to improving your artistic skills, you will fine-tune your critique skills through the discussion of class artwork, as well as the work of historical and contemporary artists.  Writing about artwork will also be explored as we learn to analyze artwork both contextually and formally.  Please click on the link below to learn more about course expectations, classroom rules and required materials.
