Hello families, 

My name is Carolyn Pinheiro and I am the School Social Worker for Cornwall-on-Hudson Elementary School.

The 2023-2024 school year marks my 8th year at COH, 20th year with the Cornwall Central School District, and 27th year as a School Social Worker.  As a school social worker, I support the students' social and emotional needs.  I describe myself as a special friend whose job it is to make sure everyone is happy.  When students are happy, they are able to make good choices and do their best in school.

I push into most classes during the 6 day cycle to teach mindfulness.  In the 3rd grade I teach the Mindful Schools Curriculum.
