The role of school counselors includes support for the academic component as well as a socio-emotional and personal development component of our students. In keeping with our school's philosophy for transition, our charge is to help bridge the gap between the elementary and high school years, and build a relationship with our students and families while you are at CCMS.

 

At CCMS, students will have many new experiences, many different teachers, and a variety of academic challenges, which we hope the students will enjoy. At this critical stage of development, it is important for students to have someone they can go to if they have questions, problems, or just want to talk. We encourage you to come in or call and say hello!
