The Cornwall Central School District is partnering with a new communication platform called ParentSquare. This system will replace SchoolMessenger for school-to-home communications; the primary contact information parents have on file in SchoolTool has been transferred to ParentSquare.
All unregistered Cornwall families will receive an invitation via text or email to register their account with ParentSquare. You can also self-register at any time through the ParentSquare app or website using the email address or cell phone you have on file with the school.
It is very important that you accept the invitation or register your account, and download the app to ensure you continue to receive all of the important information from your child’s school.
Here’s what you can do with ParentSquare:
- Receive messages from the school via email, text or app notification
- Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once with a daily digest at 6pm
- Communicate in your preferred language
- Comment on school postings to engage with your school community
- Direct message teachers, staff and other parents
- Participate in group messages
- Sign up for parent-teacher conferences
- Send payments, sign forms & permission slips, receive report cards, sign up to volunteer and more, all from your desktop or mobile device
