• Exam Dates for State Regents Days: Tuesday, June 10th/Wednesday June 11th and Tuesday, June 17th- Wednesday, June 25th

      General Information

      • The end of the school year is upon us, and with that comes the Regents Exam testing period. Each student’s classroom teacher has outlined the test schedule for both local exams and state exams during class time.

Please note that if a student misses a Regents Exam, this will be factored into their final average as a ZERO. State exam times and dates are set forth by NYS and cannot be rescheduled. Students will not be given an INC (Incomplete) for Regents Exams unless they can provide medical documentation from a doctor excusing their absence. Please refer to the Exam schedule. This schedule was sent to parents and guardians in September of 2024 for planning purposes. Attending college visits or family events/vacations are not valid reasons for missing Regents Exams. If a course does not end in a Regents, teachers will administer departmental in-class local finals or alternative assessments. These local finals are dependent upon the course, so students should clarify with their teacher when these exams will be administered.

On Regents exam days regular high school classes will not be in session, and only those students scheduled for an exam that day should report to school. Please be aware that state exams have strict time restrictions; exams may not be given outside of these times. There are two sessions of exams each day (an AM Exam starting at 7:30 AM and a PM Exam beginning at 11:30 AM). The snack line will be open from 7:00-7:20 for breakfast as well as from 10:30-11:20 for a cold lunch.

Bus transportation will be provided for your child in order for them to arrive at the test for the appropriate scheduled time. Students with an AM exam will take their normal morning bus. Students who only have a PM exam should follow the bus pick up times which are attached. Please note that the bus which drops off students who have finished their AM test is the same bus that will pick up students needing to take a PM test. There is a late bus run at 12:05, 2:15 and 3:10. If you have any questions or concerns about a specific test, please contact your child’s classroom teacher, school counselor or administration.

Thank you for your support in our endeavors to prepare your children for their future.
